The Story Behind Line 103
Line 103 Hair Co. was created with the intention of offering exceptional, luxury-quality hair across all hair types and textures. We are committed to sourcing only the highest standard of hair, working closely with trusted partners throughout Ukraine and Eastern Europe who uphold ethical and humane practices at every stage of the process.
In these regions, individuals voluntarily sell their ponytails through local salons and are compensated based on the weight, length, and color of their hair. Stylists are then compensated for their work by the vendors. From there, each ponytail is carefully selected by our team and transformed into our hand-tied and ultra-thin wefts, ensuring quality, consistency, and longevity.
Due to current manufacturing limitations in these regions, advanced weft types such as genius or micro wefts are not yet produced at the same standard. Additionally, naturally tight curl patterns are less common within these areas. To ensure we offer a full range of textures, we partner with premium Asian suppliers who follow similarly ethical sourcing practices. These strands are then steam-permed to create the soft, natural-looking curls featured in our collection.
The result is hair that is not only beautiful and versatile, but also incredibly soft, long-lasting, and realistic in appearance.

Meet Molly Carter
Line 103 Hair Co. was founded by Molly K. Carter, an extension artist known for working across all hair types and textures behind the chair. After years of searching for truly exceptional hair that could meet the needs of every client, she realized the options available simply weren’t enough.
Determined to close that gap, Molly began sourcing her own hair—working directly with vendors and eliminating the middleman. Through late nights and ongoing communication with partners overseas, particularly in regions like Ukraine, she discovered a level of quality and raw texture that completely shifted what was possible.
This was the missing piece.
For the first time, she had access to hair that could truly support texture-inclusive results—not just straight hair, but hair that could seamlessly blend across a full range of clients. What started as a solution for her own clientele quickly became something bigger.
As her work gained attention, other artists began asking the same question:
“What hair are you using?”
Line 103 Hair Co. was born from that demand—created to give other artists access to the same level of quality, versatility, and performance.
Because extensions should never be limited by texture.
